The New Benchmark In Endocrinology

Dr. Leblanc joined the practice in March 2008. She was born in Honduras (is fluent in Spanish) and moved to New Orleans, LA when she was 5 years old and did all of her training there.
She graduated summa cum laude with BS in biology from the University of New Orleans in 1998 and went on to graduate from Louisiana State University Medical School in 2002.

She did internship and residency in internal medicine at Earl K Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, La and received a fellowship in endocrinology from Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, La in 2008.
She practices general endocrinology but also focuses on thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and type 2 diabetes.

She performs thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies in office and has participated in clinical research for the advancement of diagnosis/prognosis of thyroid biopsies. She is interested in finding new approaches to motivate patients develop healthy habits that will promote optimal health and keep them free of complications.
